The Mahindra XUV300 facelift has been spied testing on multiple previous occasions, revealing deets about its revised cabin and feature additions. But this is the first time that the SUV has been spotted with production-ready design elements, instead of the make-do temporary ones. An official reveal should just be around the corner, but until then, let’s take a look at whatever we can discern from the spy shots.
The video draws light to the front end of the revised XUV300, which looks sharp, thanks to a flat bonnet and nose. But the critical observation here are the updated LED headlights, which seems to be inspired from the XUV700, especially in the way it extends downwards from the main headlight unit. However, the XUV300 doesn’t get the sequential turn indicators of its bigger sibling. Rounding things up is a circular fog lamp unit just below the main unit.
The alloy wheel design, which features an aerodynamic touch, looks fresh. Apart from the roof rails up top, we don’t expect any other significant changes here. Things are more comprehensive at the rear, which Mahindra has updated with a connected LED tailight setup. Even the bumpers have been reworked here, and now hosts the number plate housing.
An earlier spy shot drew some light on the changes inside the XUV300 facelift. The images revealed a slightly redesigned dashboard with a floating touchscreen infotainment system that’s larger than the current model’s 7-inch unit. The AC vents below it are now horizontal, but its control panel beneath it is still similar to the current XUV300’s.
It could get new features like a 360-degree camera, wireless phone charger and probably ventilated seats as well. Features like a sunroof, automatic climate control, steering-mounted audio controls, cruise control, six airbags, and electronic stability control should be retained.
Mahindra is likely to retain the existing engine options, which include a 110PS 1.2-litre turbo-petrol, 130PS 1.2-litre T-GDI turbo-petrol and a 117PS 1.5-litre diesel. All engines get a 6-speed manual as standard, while the 110PS turbo-petrol and 117PS diesel engines get an optional 6-speed AMT.

Prices for the Mahindra XUV300 facelift could take a slight bump up over the current model, which starts from Rs 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom), considering the design revisions and new feature additions. It’ll rekindle its rivalry with the Kia Sonet, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Nissan Magnite and the facelifted Tata Nexon.
